Fender stamped saddles and six mounting screws define the vintage tone of this tremolo assembly. Includes six saddle bridge assembly, tremolo claw, tremolo tension springs, tremolo arm, tremolo arm tip, tremolo arm tension spring, string tree. Some of this original tooling has been diligently rebuilt to achieve the crisp clean construction of original vintage Fender products, though many Pure Vintage parts still retrofit several of our modern instruments and amplifiers.
Read through this post before you take your guitar apart. Shame on you if the bridge on your guitar looks like this! Go to your guitar guy and get a junky old bridge and work on it.
Nickel-plated steel vintage-style bridge assembly with six bent "Fender" stamped saddles. Does not include mounting hardware, tremolo claw, tremolo springs or tremolo arm. As a result, bridge mounting screws will not directly fit onto a vintage or vintage reissue instrument and modification will be required. Before you purchase this bridge carefully check the string spacing on your guitar.
Fender Stratocaster Guitar Forum. Messages: Hi all - This is likely an already well debated question but still not clear to me what the main differences are in terms of performance.
There was a time when vintage Fenders were thought to sound superior to newer ones simply because they were old, and most players were content to leave it at that. As the prices of vintage Fender Stratocasters went stratospheric, the guitar community began to ask why the old ones sounded different. Could those characteristics be replicated with newer instruments?
Callaham use stainless steel screws for the intonation, saddle height, and top plate mounting screws. The 6 heat treated pivot screws are essential. The top plate is cold rolled carbon steel that is nickel plated.
Includes six bent "Fender"-stamped saddles, intonation screws and springs, and saddle-height adjustment screws. Mounting hardware, tremolo claw, tremolo springs and tremolo arm not included. Skip to main content.
Our parts are made specifically for Fender guitars, but because they are modular many models end up being "parts guitars", that are no longer unaltered factory instruments. It is vitally important to measure your bridge, as "looks like" is not a reliable way to purchase a product. When looking for compatible parts, Fender sometimes adds to the confusion by using the same words in a different order for different model guitars.
