Teens can get out of the house during the summer and enjoy fun area attractions by registering for any of the weekly field trips sponsored by Lively Pointe Youth Center. With a variety of trip options, teens can test their skills at indoor rock climbing, learn something new at one of the many DFW museums, cheer on a local professional sports team or discover the unique sport of whirlyball. Trips are scheduled each Tuesday throughout the summer, beginning each June.

At the Shedd Aquariumone can schedule a field trip or partake in a learning lab that explores topics like the Great Lakes ecosystem. Encourage smart financial decisions and get a behind-the-scenes look at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago with a visit to the Money Museum. A visit to Chicago is a chance to learn from some of the best actors, musicians, painters, and dancers in their fields through master classes, backstage tours, and educational talks.

Our mission is authentic travel with unique experiences to inspire and teach teens to be savvy travelers. Every program uses a hands-on approach to discover what it means to live like a local in each place we visit. Group sizes of students allow us to travel comfortably and make real connections to each other and the host community.
Being familiar with your destination is a huge part of making the most of field trips — talk about the trip in advance, look at a map, visit the website, have a purpose for the visit. Go slow and enjoy the time together. Strengthening your relationship with your teen is perhaps your main goal for the field trip.

Spring Season Runs April 15th through May 22nd. The Heart-J Center is a c3 nonprofit offering students the chance to get out of the classroom and immerse themselves in fun and challenging activities that embrace nature-centered themes such as archery, art, connecting with horses, natural history, river ecology, writing, leadership skills, outdoor skills and more! Activities are customized to meet the needs of your group, with many topics that align with state standards. We offer programs for groups up towith options ranging from 2-hours to three-days!
Field trips for teenagers require creativity, planning, organization and engaging subject matter to be successful. Try to remember what it was like to be a teenager and address the common concerns of your students when you plan trips for them. Involve the teens as much as possible in the field trip planning process to make sure the trip is something they have a genuine interest in and can get excited about.
