But we already knew that, right? Smaller testicles tend to produce and carry less sperm. And for primates looking to reproduce, the less sperm you deposit into a female, the less likely your chances of impregnating her with your genetic offspring.
The new study surveyed over 1, people in the Czech Republic and Brazil. It compared photoshopped male faces with varying degrees of facial hair and their effect on straight women and gay men. Facial hair was associated with a stronger sexual response in both groups, but especially in the men.
I remember when I first thought my body was not good enough to be desired by other men. This feeling of disappointment with myself and envy of other men happened when I started going to gay bars and clubs. I noticed that men with defined muscles and often perfectly groomed facial hair received all the attention. Many gay men feel the pressure to have the perfect muscular bodywhich can be for their own self-confidence and health, but it may also be an attempt to exude society's notion of masculinity in order to be desirable to other men.
The researchers photoshopped varying levels of facial hair — clean-shaven, light stubble, heavy stubble and full beards — onto photos of male faces for the study and found facial hair produced a stronger sexual response in participants than the clean-shaven stimuli. But the gay men the researchers surveyed reported an even stronger preference than the women for facial hair.

The fag hag. Never were two more scornful words so spectacularly smashed together. Derision comes from queer quarters almost as often as from straight bystanders.
Designer stubble and your more hipster-tailored beard were about to be replaced with smooth jawlines and a more boy-ish look. Researchers from the University of Queensland in Australia have found that what might be considered scruffy stubble to some, is actually a bit of a turn on for many more. The first group simply rated the men with the beardless-to-bearded faces for overall sexual attractiveness.
